Obituary for James Emery Crane

James Emery Crane, 79, passed away October 3, 2016, at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Born January 12, 1937 in Hutchinson, James was the son of John and Frances Crane. He was a retired construction worker.

A veteran of the United States Army, he also loved the outdoors – going fishing and hunting; he enjoyed tinkering with small motors while listening to his favorite old traditional county and western music.

He is survived by 1 son, Gary Dale Crane; 1 daughter, Donna Christine (Krissy) Morgan, both of Hutchinson; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Corwin and Carolyn Yingling; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Jerry; 1 grandson, Andrew; 4 sisters, and, 2 brothers.

A graveside celebration of life with military honors will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave. Hutchinson, Kansas.
