Obituary for Ralph Darrell Moore

Ralph Darrell  Moore
Ralph Darrell Moore, 78, passed away January 11, 2017 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born in Blackwell, Ok. on February 23, 1938, the son of Ralph and Wilmetta Moore. He was the retired owner and operator of D & D Elevator Repair.

A Veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a member of the Hutchinson VFW #1361, enjoyed woodworking projects, and, listened to traditional country music. He was a friend to many and leader to others.

Survivors include 1 son, Shannon D. (Cynthia) Moore; 2 daughters, Shawn ( Jim) Moore and Robin Moore; grandchildren Beau Moore, Chauntel Steele, Dustin Davis, Dakota Moore, Riley Moore, Shawna Harper, Alisha Thrashe and a grand special lady in his life, Carmen Mulligan, and his trusty companion, Koda, his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Darren and Rusty, and 3 sisters.

A gathering for friends and family will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Graveside celebration of life will take place with military honors, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:30 am at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial and gifts may be made to the Hutchinson VFW #1361 and left in care of the funeral home.
