Phyllis Louise Hammond, 62, passed away March 6, 2017 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, she was born October 23, 1954, the daughter of James W. Hammond and Frieda N. Howe.

She loved to smile and enjoyed time with all her friends and associates at TECH, Inc., where she worked as a film assistant.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Donna Phipps, Sherry Hammond, Debbie Vance; 2 brothers, Donald Werner, Lee Hammond, 2 nephews, Jason Vance and Kevin Calkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother in law, Robert Vance.

Per her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established and gifts may be made to Hutchinson Animal Shelter and/or TECH, Inc. and left in care of Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
