Obituary for James Frick

James  Frick
James D. Frick, 73, passed away November 26, 2017 peacefully at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born April 30, 1944 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Norval and Ida Mae Frick.

Jim attended Hutchinson High School, graduating in 1962. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a bass player in several local bands during the 1960’s and 1970’s. He lived and breathed music. Then he worked as a roofer for 30 years.

In 1970 Jim married Jane Sugg. She survives. Other survivors include the children: Aaron, Allison (Shawn), Sarah (Sam), Kipp ( Tracy), and Kendi ( Rick) Arnold, all of Hutchinson, Kansas; grandchildren: Mysterie, Klaiborne, Radley.

Cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society, the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, or Interim Home Care and Hospice, and left in care of the funeral home.
